Dark Chocolate Fondue
Exquisite melted dark chocolate with a hint of coconut flavour makes an indulgent dessert to tempt your dinner guests with. It’s dead easy to make and always in-season when served with local fruit.
Pour enough water into medium saucepan to come 2-inches (5 cm) up sides; simmer over low heat.
Combine chocolate, coconut oil and salt in a heatproof bowl with a rim slightly bigger than the rim of the saucepan; set over pan of barely simmering water. Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth, about 5 to 10 minutes. Makes about 1 cup (250 mL).
Pour into fondue pot. Serve with an assortment of fresh fruit such as bananas, blackberries and apples.
You will need
1 bar (300 g) PC 70% Cocoa Solids Dark Chocolate,
