Sausage and Mushroom Pretzel Pizza

We stuck close to the pretzel’s German roots with this sausage and mustard topping for our new pretzel pizza crust. Guten appetit!

Cooking Instructions

Position oven rack in lower third of oven. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).

Remove casing from sausage. Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat; cook sausage for 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up with a spoon, or until browned.

Stir together pizza sauce and mustard; spread over crust, leaving 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around edge bare. Sprinkle cheese evenly over sauce. Top with even layer of mushrooms, red onion and sausage.

Place pizza directly on lower oven rack. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese is melted.

Remove from oven, using tongs to slide onto cutting board. Cut into six slices and serve immediately.
