Spinach dip makes a great short-cut to this warm spinach-and-mushroom nibble. Serve them with drinks before dinner or as a hot hors d’oeuvre at a cocktail party.

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Heat oil in large nonstick frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, arrange mushrooms in a single layer; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until golden brown. Remove pan from heat; set aside to cool for 5 minutes. Once cool enough to handle, roughly chop mushrooms.

Arrange naan dippers on rimmed baking sheet. Spread spinach dip evenly over entire surface of each naan dipper; top each with some mushrooms then sprinkle with cheese. Bake in centre of oven for 5 minutes. Transfer to serving platter; garnish with chives. Serve immediately.
